What is shareware?
Shareware is a method of distributing
software with the advantage that you can try before you buy.
If you find the software suiting your needs and continue using
it after a trial period you are expected to register and pay a
"registration fee". If you don't use the product, you don't
pay for it.
With your registration you support the
shareware concept and it will be possible for the authors
continue writing quality software products.
How do I unlock the software
after receiving the unlock code?
-
Start the application on you Palm OS™
handheld by tapping its icon.
-
Tap the 'Register' button on the
about screen or choose 'Registration' from the 'Options'
menu.
-
Make sure that the Text entry line is
active, which is indicated by a flashing cursor. If it is
not, click on the text entry line first.
-
Enter the key.
-
Press the 'Ok' button. If the unlock
key is accepted you will get a message from the program. If
not, make sure you have entered the unlock key properly.

The alarm sound is not very loud. What
can I do?
This is a general problem of the hardware (except on the Palm
m100™). Because of the type of the build-in speaker the volume can't
be really adjusted but you can try different settings in the
multiClock volume preferences. On some machines a setting of 7 for the
master volume produces a louder sound.
Does multiClock work on a Palm IIIx™ or Palm V™?
Yes. If you encounter any problems with the alarm, try a
soft-reset.
The 2nd time zone does not work. What can I do?
Likely you are using an older version of multiClock. Please try the
current version.
The alarms do not work on my Palm V™. What can I
do?
Some Palm V™ connected organizers experience an issue known by Palm
Inc. whereby the alarm does not wake up the device. This condition
normally is a result of a low battery situation or corrupt alarms.
Both of these conditions can be addressed by making sure the Palm V™
is charged and by performing a soft reset.
To do this:
-
Use the reset tip tool, or the tip of an unfolded paper clip (or
similar blunt object), to gently press and release the button inside
the reset hole on the back of the device. Do not use a sharp object
or use excessive force.
-
Withdraw the reset tip tool
How do I remove multiClock from my Palm OS™
handheld?
On the Palm III™ and newer models, tap the Menu icon from the
Applications launcher and choose ‘Delete’. Select ‘multiClock’
from the list of applications and tap 'Delete...'. Tap ‘Yes’ to confirm
the request. Tap ‘Done’ to return to the application launcher.
What
encryption is used to protect the data and is it safe?
Currently we use a self-made encryption
method. It's main purpose is to protect the normal user from
looking into the database on your computer with a hex editor
and read all the information. Please send us a mail
if you like to
see a stronger encryption in a future release.
How
do I install the software I have downloaded?
